For Scarf Magic, you'll follow along with whatever yarn and hook you choose. For FreeSpirit, you'll need a 12mm or 15mm crochet hook, a pair of scissors, and a darning needle.

Basic crochet knowledge: all you need are the very basic stitches — chains, single crochet, and double crochet. If you haven't picked up a hook yet, start with my free Learn to Crochet course first.
