It’s not just crochet!!
I’ve been a knitter for over twenty years and decided I wanted to learn crochet after seeing Aluma’s classes on instagram. Not only did I learn a new skill but my relationship with fiber art has never ever felt so inspired, creative and artistic! It’s been mind blowing for me. Every piece that I have made through her courses has felt like art. Choosing the colors and designs has been so intentional, it’s a bit like painting with yarn. I am always surprised by how each creation is so unique and I have fallen in love with all of them. Honestly, these master classes have been the best gift I’ve given to myself in ages. I’m so grateful for ALUMA and her ability to help unlock such a creative process.

The detailed instructions are superb easy to follow. I am a bevy and have thoroughly enjoyed making my shawl. I’m so pleased with it I will be making some more in different fibres and colours.

The Playground Scarf
This class, like all the others, is enjoyable and informative. A bit if a challenge because I have always been a more conservative knitter (and crocheter). Aluma encourages me to use colors in a way different way which takes me just a little out of my comfort zone. I haven’t finished my scarf yet, but am looking forward to the end result, it will be interesting and colorful.
