I loved this course! The video tutorial is so detailed and easy to follow I have made two smaller shawls and two larger ones and they are getting better all the time. Practice makes perfect!

What I have enjoyed the most is playing with colour! It is so therapeutic and gratifying really.

As an absolute beginner before purchasing this course, I'm blown away at how quickly I could learn from your teaching style that encourages expression, freedom, style and creativity with absolutely no pressure, just fun. I could have had three pieces finished since I started it last week, but am having so much fun, I keep undoing things to go back and try new things as the ideas form 🙃 I'm enjoying how much fun I'm having creating while having no attachment to the finished piece (new for me) but am so excited about finally calming down and finishing a piece, and also excited for how many times I will return to this with new yarns and ideas. I have been making flowers for a long time, using Chinese Knots, Pin weaving and knitting, to make jewellery. But it's so long since I crocheted that I overlooked it. But when I saw your fabulous Wearable art with crochet flowers I was delighted, it just suits my interests perfectly! Your descriptions and videos are very clear, wonderful ideas and simple methods so well explained! I have to finish some plain knitted poppies for someone and can't wait to start on your masterclass. Dreamcatchers are my favorite things to make! I have learned so much with Aluma’s classes and feel so inspired that I don’t want to stop making them. I have already made 3 and about to start on a 4th. The best thing I could have found to rekindle my love for crochet and an incredible spark of inspiration.

I have really enjoyed Rebel Rebel and can’t stop making shalls, cowls, ponchos, etc…The Wild Thing is next! All of Aluma’s classes are so enjoyable and easy to follow.

The FreeSpirit Shawl is a great way to play with different yarns. Instructions are clear and easy to follow. Perfect project for a beginning crocheter.

Aluma’s instructions are very clear and forgiving. This was a fun workshop. The videos allow you to work at your own pace and to rewatch any sections you may find a little tricky.
