The way Aluma clearly, thoughtfully, and thoroughly teaches is SO well done and mindful of all the details! The pace is just right even for a beginner, or (like me) took a crochet break for a long while. It was so easy to follow this pattern and I am already on my second one! I can’t imagine how long it takes you to put together these tutorials, on top of mastering the design thru trial/samples - to share with us is a treasure!!

I’ve loved all of Aluma’s workshops that I’ve bought, and the Holiday Shawl is no exception - in fact it may be my favorite. I’ve already made a shawl for a friend and am now looking forward to putting one together for myself for warm summer nights ahead! The creative encouragement is fantastic!

This is my latest project from one of Aluma’s wonderful online courses. I’ve taken several of her courses now, and I truly love the way she teaches. The instructions are easy to follow, but at the same time there is so much room to be creative and make the piece your own.

I especially loved playing with all the different colours, yarns and textures in this shawl – and seeing it slowly come together was such a joy.

I’m so happy with the result, and I already know this won’t be my last one. I can’t wait to make another shawl and explore more of Aluma’s beautiful courses. 🧶

Once again, Aluma created a gorgeous Holiday Shawl with wonderful instruction. I learned so much from this class regarding mixing colors, textures and shaping the shawl. I have crocheted 2 shawls with different colors. Aluma's class is easy to follow, allowing for your creativity to develop. As a result, this class has made me think differently about mixing colors and textures to create a new yarn. Aluma has been one of the best fiber instructors I've come across. I would highly recommend taking any class from Aluma.

Absolutely amazing workshop! It’s incredible how quickly you can create a beautiful scarf while having so much fun experimenting with colors and getting creative. It’s perfect for adding a unique touch to an outfit, creating something special for a particular occasion, or making a thoughtful, personalized gift. Everyone has stopped and asked me about my dreamcatcher! I really enjoyed this class! I needed a creative boost in middle of all my knitting projects. This was a great way to use up my stash and add colour to my wardrobe. I am already planning my second and gifts!

As an absolute beginner before purchasing this course, I'm blown away at how quickly I could learn from your teaching style that encourages expression, freedom, style and creativity with absolutely no pressure, just fun. I could have had three pieces finished since I started it last week, but am having so much fun, I keep undoing things to go back and try new things as the ideas form 🙃 I'm enjoying how much fun I'm having creating while having no attachment to the finished piece (new for me) but am so excited about finally calming down and finishing a piece, and also excited for how many times I will return to this with new yarns and ideas. Dreamcatchers are my favorite things to make! I have learned so much with Aluma’s classes and feel so inspired that I don’t want to stop making them. I have already made 3 and about to start on a 4th. The best thing I could have found to rekindle my love for crochet and an incredible spark of inspiration.

Aluma is the very best Teacher I have ever had and I have been crocheting and knitting for more than 40 years. She encourages Creative Freedom and most certainly to be WILD and ADVENTUROUS!!! Go For it !!!

Such a good tutorial, super easy to follow and to adapt to use up all those weird and wonderful odd balls of yarn you don't know what to do with. It's a quick project and very portable too. I am currently working my way through my wardrobe making one for every outfit!

Lovely and very inspiring course. With this course a whole new world opened up for me how you can combine different yarns an mix colors. The video instructions were aldo very clear and they were easy to follow.
