This course is just as constructive and informative as all your tutorials are. Whether you’ve crocheted before or not, your directions and videos are very clear to understand and help even a novice feel they can accomplish a beautiful end product.
This particular course is fun to play with colors and textured yarns and scraps. I’ve already completed two and with holidays coming up am looking forward to doing more for gifts.

So much fun and easy to make. Have done 2 but havent done the fringe yet. If it is finished I will send pictures

I’ve loved all of Aluma’s workshops that I’ve bought, and the Holiday Shawl is no exception - in fact it may be my favorite. I’ve already made a shawl for a friend and am now looking forward to putting one together for myself for warm summer nights ahead! The creative encouragement is fantastic!

I enjoyed this course so much and am very pleased with my first Holiday Shawl.
I used the Colour-block version and it turned out so lovely.
I used navy and black with olive green on the upper half and a mustard yellow as the front accent. The bottom had the navy blending with greys and dark turquoise. It ended up feeling inspired by Van Gogh’s Starry Night-although that wasn’t my inspiration. I chose the colours based on the first navy.
I’d like to try the Wild version next.

This is my latest project from one of Aluma’s wonderful online courses. I’ve taken several of her courses now, and I truly love the way she teaches. The instructions are easy to follow, but at the same time there is so much room to be creative and make the piece your own.

I especially loved playing with all the different colours, yarns and textures in this shawl – and seeing it slowly come together was such a joy.

I’m so happy with the result, and I already know this won’t be my last one. I can’t wait to make another shawl and explore more of Aluma’s beautiful courses. 🧶

Once again, Aluma created a gorgeous Holiday Shawl with wonderful instruction. I learned so much from this class regarding mixing colors, textures and shaping the shawl. I have crocheted 2 shawls with different colors. Aluma's class is easy to follow, allowing for your creativity to develop. As a result, this class has made me think differently about mixing colors and textures to create a new yarn. Aluma has been one of the best fiber instructors I've come across. I would highly recommend taking any class from Aluma.

I’m a beginner at crochet, and I followed Aluma’s holiday shawl crochet pattern. I found her lesson to be incredibly helpful, both verbally and visually, and it really helped me succeed with the project. I’m a slow learner, but I’m making progress, and I’m proud of what I’ve been able to accomplish!

One of my favorite things about the lesson is that I can work at my own pace. Being able to pause, rewind, and come back to the video another day makes learning so much less stressful and enjoyable. Aluma does a wonderful job explaining each step in a way that a beginner can follow. I’m excited to keep practicing and improving!

I’ve purchased apps, how to books and I never finished a whole pattern. Something about the way she explains in her videos and writes it out, it clicked. I’ve made two projects from all of her patterns, I’ve purchased many. I lover her explanations, how she mixes colors, textures it keeps me engaged. I can’t wait to purchase her next pattern and whenever I have a chance I look forward to getting to crocheting one of them!

Absolutely amazing workshop! It’s incredible how quickly you can create a beautiful scarf while having so much fun experimenting with colors and getting creative. It’s perfect for adding a unique touch to an outfit, creating something special for a particular occasion, or making a thoughtful, personalized gift. Such a fun and inspiring experience — I absolutely loved it!

I really enjoyed this course. The instructions are very clear and are easy to follow. I especially loved how the course is structured, moving step by step from a simpler design to the Wild Holiday Shawl the really playful one. Every step is explained and filmed so well. I think the course works equally for beginners and experienced crocheters. Highly recommended!
