It's so fun to see something come to life from your own hands, playing with colors. I did it, even I had never knitted before. Just a very small problem: it's addictive😉

I loved this course. Aluma is a great teacher and it is very easy to follow her instructions. I am now starting her Flowers course. I love her style!

I enjoyed this course. It’s broken down into little modules, each with its own short video and instructions. Aluma’s tutorials are concise, informative and encouraging. As I made the flowers I was doubtful about my colour and yarn choices, but as she assured, they ultimately hung together well. I feel encouraged to keep experimenting.

I loved this class! I’ve been knitting and doing crochet for many years, but never thought to put them together in such a an imaginative way to create a scarf that gets everyone talking! I wear it, and I’ve been stopped in the street by strangers who want to know where I got it! Having done one, in shades of purple, crimson, grey pink, and magenta, using up yarns I’ve had for ages I am now doing a green one, and I admit, I went out yesterday and bought a few more balls of yarn! Thanks so much for a fabulous course, it has changes my life!

Lovely and very inspiring course. With this course a whole new world opened up for me how you can combine different yarns an mix colors. The video instructions were aldo very clear and they were easy to follow.

The instructions and videos are perfect. I’m a newbie to crochet and found everything easy to follow! I just wish I had a stash of fun yarn!!

I have recently been trying to improve my crochet skills (which are few!) I love Aluma’s work and bought the Free Sprit Shawl work shop. Having recently fractured my ankle I was looking for something I could sit and enjoy and learn , the instructions are so easy to follow and have only taken a very short time to complete, in a few days I had made several. One I gave to my little grand daughter (who I’ve also been teaching to crochet!) and then had a request from her little sister, finished within a couple of days! It’s improved my confidence and I am now hoping to move on to more advanced patterns.

As a beginner this was an exciting experience. I was desperate to have a go and although having a few false starts - because of my own ineptitude - I made the simple Cozy in an evening. It is delightful. The video had all the instructions needed and were clear to follow as one can pause the video and take stock. I adore all the additional information given in the video. Colour and yarn details. Essential to a newcomer to crochet. I can’t wait to make another Cozy for friends. I think they will be delighted !!

I have never crocheted before. I started with the free course introduction to crochet and very quickly went on to experience the superb shawl course. I made two in as many days mainly because the freedom to use colour and different threads made it so much easier to use yarns I had given to me by a friend as I had broken my leg and just couldn’t get out at all. It was wonderful to create something I was proud of and good enough to wear. ALUMA style of teaching is so easy to follow. She has a super voice which is calm and professional - technically the course has really been through through with the student in mind. Clear, and concise instructions which one can stop and revisit. The additional information in the videos are also SO useful. Colours stitches to be used. Seriously do not hesitate to have go!!!!

The video for Free Spirit SHAWL was great and easy to follow also the fact that a written instruction was included at the end very good …. All in all A+… I enjoyed learning how to make the shawl and like the designs for Aluma very much.
